Our Purpose

At Genesis Natives, our mission is to promote sustainable practices in gardening, celebrate the beauty of native flora, and encourage a thriving environment for insects, birds and mammals. We aim to build a community passionate about nature and conservation efforts.

Why NATIVE PLANTS?

They help decrease water runoff and filter pollutants, improving water quality, for a healthier planet and a more resilient landscape.

They contribute to mitigating climate change by removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

Native plants provide essential food, shelter, and breeding grounds for a wide variety of native animals, ie. by providing nectar, pollen, and seeds for pollinators, birds, and other animals.

There is a vital connection between native plants and pollinators (bees, butterflies, moths) and their role in plant reproduction.
